Casemate Peel-Raamstelling S (3a) 404

This casemate was built in the period 1939-1940 and is located approximately one hundred meters north of a ninety-degree bend in the canal. A road runs along it and the casemate could deliver frontal fire on this road. The casemate is in good condition but was damaged at the front by machine gun fire. It is unlikely that this happened during the May days of 1940.
