Memorial Laufeld

At the church of Laufeld there is a white statue on a pedestal, depicting an angel with a child next to it. It was founded as a thank you for the return of soldiers in the First World War.

The text on the pedestal reads:
"O holy guardian angel of mine,
let me be recommended to you.
Founded out of gratitude
by the returned warriors 1918"
An image of a dove of peace stands on the side.
