This memorial in a park at the back of Canterbury Cathedral is dedicated to the fallen pupils of the King's School during the First and Second World Wars. King's School has existed since the Middle Ages and is the oldest Public School in England.
The text on the cross-shaped column reads:
‘In proud and thankful memory of the boys of King's School who gave their lives for King and Country 1914-1919. And in the Second Worldwar 1939-1945’
