Belgian War Graves Wittlich

At the honorary cemetery (according to plans by architect Karnatz) in Wittlich, 462 people are buried as war dead: mostly soldiers, but also prisoners of war, forced laborers, victims of the Christmas bombing. A military cemetery was established as early as the war year of 1945.

Between the small gravestones there are also two Belgian victims:
Jean BORDAS and Achille BAERT.
