Battle Marker Field Grave British soldiers Zonneheuvelweg
The Battle marker is located on the spot where seven British soldiers were first buried in a joint field grave. They fought in the Battle of Arnhem from 17 to 25 September 1944 and were killed in the area of the Zonneheuvelweg. After the war they were transferred to the Airborne cemetery in Oosterbeek.
