Fuhrerhauptquartier Wolfsschlucht 1 - Emergency Airstrip
An emergency loading runway was built here in May 1940 by Organisation Todt. It was used by Fieseler Fi 156 Storch airplanes. Hitler and other Nazi dignitaries used the runway to land and take off from headquarters.
