Belvedère

The Belvedere is a touristic lookout tower on the Kemmelberg, the highest hill in Belgium. The tower was built in 1924 and replaced a wooden tower that was destroyed in the First World War. Adolf Hitler visited this place with his entourage (including Wilhelm Keitel) on 1 June 1940.
