War Memorial Dahlem

In Dahlem, a war memorial was inaugurated on 11 September 1922 on the corner of Kapellenweg and Trierer Straße. The now dilapidated monument was demolished in 1979. One component, the relief of a protective cloak Madonna, was attached to the funeral hall of the cemetery. A stone with an iron cross was placed in front of the new monument, found during excavation work in 2007.
A new monument designed by architect Geyer was erected in front of the war cemetery as early as 1967. The complex consists of a stone column with a cross and inscription and two stone crosses on the left and right and bronze plaques with the fallen soldiers from the two world wars.
