Liberation Memorial Lewedorp

In the middle of the cemetery of the church in Lewedorp stands a cross with the following inscription:
By the cross hairs heaven happiness.

The following text is written on the upper circle at the front of the memorial:
In honor of the liberators of Lewedorp 30 October 1944.

The text at the bottom of the circle reads:
Canadians ~ the Black Watch. RHR. ~ le Regiment of Canada de Maison neuve ~ the Calgary Highlanders
Scots ~ 52nd Lowland division.

The text on the back of the monument reads:
In cross the resignation.
