Hala Stulecia (Jahrhunderthalle)
The Hala Stulecia (Jahrhunderthalle) was built in 1913 and is a World Heritage Site. Adolf Hitler gave several speeches here, on 12 September 1930, 3 March 1932, 18 April 1932, 19 October 1932, 1 March 1933, 22 March 1936 and 20 November 1943. A remarkable fact is that the hall came through the war almost unscathed. Much of the city lay in ruins in 1945.
