Kleinheubach is part of the decentralized project "We want to remember! DenkOrt Deportationen 1941 – 1944", which was inaugurated in Würzburg on June 17, 2020.
This monument consists of suitcases, backpacks, rolled blankets and other pieces of luggage made of stone, wood and metal, which represent the few belongings that the deportees were able to take with them when they were deported via Würzburg to various concentration camps
The 47 pieces of luggage in Würzburg as of 2020 represent 58 Jewish communities and places of residence. A second opening with 32 additional pieces of luggage for 43 Jewish communities and places of residence took place on September 24, 2021.
One piece of luggage is in Würzburg and a counterpart at the place from which the Jewish fellow citizens were deported.
For Kleinheubach there is a sandstone blanket roll in Würzburg, the counterpart is in Kleinheubach, near the old town hall.
There is also a memorial plaque designed for the Jewish citizens who were deported from Kleinheubach.
