Memorial blown up bridge over Creuse River

This monument is from the bridge over the river Creuse that was blown up by the French Engineers in June 1940. It was hoped this would slow the German advance. The numbers 1885-1886 recall the years the bridge was built. The monument features several plaques commemorating World War II.
