St Sprite's Chapel

Chapel of the Holy Spirit or more commonly known as St Sprite's Chapel in the south-west corner was renovated in the 1920s as a memorial to local boy and chorister Daniel Moyer* and friends who died in WW1. It now serves as a Chapel of Remembrance for all conflicts.
There are rolls of Honour and plaques commemorating members of St Peter's Training College and Kings School who gave their lives in both World wars as well as ensigns from local military units.

*Frederick Daniel MOYER. 27678. Corporal. 14th Bn, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Died 10 July 1916. Aged 17. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial, France. He is also listed on the Kings School plaque.
