Monument in memory of the ten members of the resistance who were shot on 17 February 1945 on the Spaarndammerdijk in Halfweg.
They were part of the Stoottroep Anna Paulowna, a unit of the Internal Armed Forces from August 1944 to June 1945. The reason for the fusillade was that they had committed an attack on the Amsterdam-Haarlem railway line. The group was housed in the House of Detention on the Weteringschans, after which the members were executed in reprisal.
The group was betrayed by an NSB sympathiser, who was himself killed by the resistance on 31 March 1945.
