Crash Site Morane-Saulnier 406 N° 837 - GC III/7

French pilot Lieutenant Paul Costey was killed on 15 May 1940 when his Morane-Saulnier MS 406 of the Groupe de Chasse III/7 was attacked by twelve Messerschmitt Bf 109s. He crashed here in a field at St.-Aubin near the Morialmé-Florennes road.
This monument was erected in 1991 at the place where he died.
