Information board collapsed balcony Falkenberg

This house stands along the route of the former Malmö-Gothenburg railway line, the pillars of the railway bridge demolished in 2009 can still be seen in the Ätran River.

Over this railway line, Nazi Germany transported troops and equipment to occupied Norway in World War II.

Its balcony collapsed when too many spectators came to watch the troop trains. The information board recalling this event stands opposite the house on the old railway track.
