German War Graves Eupen

Eupen's general cemetery contains a field of honor with German graves from the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

Also buried there are veterans who died after the war. It is worth noting that there are also 3 French soldiers buried here who died during the 1st World War. Like most of the soldiers buried here, they died in the hospital in Eupen and were therefore buried in this cemetery.

The three highlighted graves;

SCHUMACHER Josef, age 17 !, flak cannoneer (flugabwehrkanone), died Sept. 2nd, 1944.

OHN Josef, age unknown, killed at Sedan (France) July 16th, 1918.

FLACHMANN Wilhelm, age unknown, Ulaan with the 5th Ulanen regiment, died August 10th, 1914 in Eupen.
