Airfiefd Störmede

The airfield was put into use in 1939. One (1) of the aircraft stationed here had to make an emergency landing in the Netherlands. In 1945, many installations were made unusable.
From 1950 to 1980, the RAF used the airfield with Harrier aircraft. In 1985, the last remaining large buildings were demolished.

Information boards have been placed around the airfield.
