Monument Explosion Ammunition Factory

1739: Royal Hanoverian Armoury. In 1789, 26 individual supply companies were brought together in the workshop on Fabrikstrasse. Forging, drilling and grinding remained on site. 1817: Sold to the court gunsmith Carl Philip Crause. From 1876: unprofitable, closed. 1907: Cotton bleaching factory. 1915: Production of weapons cotton. 1919: Borvisk company: production of artificial silk. 1940: Expropriation by the Nazi regime. Subsequently, bomb and mine production. Many forced labourers were employed here. Destroyed by explosion on 4 April 1945.
