Memorial Basilica Vézelay

In the Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine there is a memorial plaque for the victims of the First World War:
"Vézelay parish
Homage to the dead
of the Great War
1914-1918"
Below that a cross with the names of the fallen on the left and right.
Bottom: "They gained great glory for their nation.
May the eternal light shine before them."
