It commemorates the soldiers of the First and Second World Wars from Chaineux.
DECLOUX Henri, age 27, soldier with the 12th line regiment, died as a result of shrapnel in the head on December 4th, 1917 in Wulpen.
NORGA Jean, age 23, soldier with the 12th line regiment, killed in action Sept. 29th, 1914 at Londerzeel.
PHILIPPE Jean, age 32, soldier with the artillery of the regiment fortifiée de Liège, died November 24th, 1918 !, 13 days after the armistice, from the effects of flu (probably Spanish flu) in the lazaret of Wasbeck (D). Was first buried in Neumunster (D), now buried in the military cemetery of Leopoldsburg.
SCHOONBROODT Jean, age 23, soldier with the 12th Line Regiment, killed in action on the 3rd day of the war, August 6th, 1914 at Roccourt.
QUOIDBACH José, age 24, corporal with the 25th linieregiment, killed in action on May 24th, 1940 at Harelbeke.
