Remi Julien DEBOISERIE, born on January 11, 1890 in Desselgem. He was a soldier 2nd class 21st Line. He died in Buggenhout on September 28, 1914. After the war he was reburied in Desselgem on May 10, 1925.
Desiré, Clemens and Roger ROMBAUT and Leopoldine TROCH were 4 members of one family. They fell as civilian victims during the Battle of the Leie, which was fought in Desselgem in May 1940.
