Memorial Chapel Kell

This memorial chapel next to Kell church is in memory of the victims who fell during both World Wars. On the back wall hang wooden crosses with the names and death dates of the victims. Above them are the following inscriptions:

1914-18
So spricht der Herr: Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben, wer an mich glaubt wird leben
(Thus says the Lord: "I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me will live)

1939-45
auch wenn er stirbt und jeder, der lebt und an mich glauft, wird in Ewigkeit nicht sterbe
(even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall not die forever)
