Memorial to perished members of Sittardse Boys and VV Sittard

This plaque bearing fifteen names commemorates the members of Sittardse Boys and VV Sittard who died during World War II. Three of them were killed in a German shelling on November 19, 1944, during a match at De Baandert between Sittardse Boys and Maurtits Geleen. The perished girls were members of the athletics or handball branches of these clubs.
