War Memorial Gerpinnes

War memorial at Gerpinnes to commemorate the military and the civilian victims of the First World War.
Inscription on the monument (translation): “1914 – 1918 / TO HIS CHILDREN / THE MUNICIPALITY OF GERPINNES GRATITUDE” and eleven names of war victims.
After the Second World War, memorial plaques were added to the left and right of the monument in memory of the military and civilian victims of this war.
Plaque on the left (translation): “1940 - 1945 / DIED FOR THE FATHERLAND / THE MUNICIPALITY OF GERPINNES / GRATITUDE” and four names of war victims.
Plaque on the right (translation): “1940 - 1945 / DIED FOR THE FATHERLAND / THE MUNICIPALITY OF GERPINNES / GRATITUDE” and four names of war victims.
