At Reinhouthoeve there are 3 former German hangars. 2 have since been converted into living quarters and workshops and one is original. German fighter planes were parked in it during repairs. The shape of the hangars is such that a plane fits inside, a T shape. The original hangar also has an original door on which windows are painted so it looks like a normal farmhouse. The walls are bomb proof the roof is not. Inside are the original inscriptions.
* No smoking.
* A red arrow with an F of wing ( in German).
The F was an aid for reverse parking. If the wing was at the height of the F the plane was parked properly. The farmhouse is easy to see from the road but it is private property.
The owner participates in the open monument day.
