Memorial Hawker Typhoon JR248
On December 8, 1944, in the early morning, the Maori F/Lt. Mate Alexander Milich crashed with his Typhoon close to this spot. This happened near the former track guard's house no. 42 at the railway bridge on the Amersfoort-Kesteren railway line. This memorial was unveiled on December 7, 2024.
