Memorial Soviet Prisoners of War Sandbostel
At the Sandbostel camp cemetery, the names of a total of 4690 Soviet POWs buried at the Sandbostel are written on bricks. The project is called “Namensziegel.” However, it can be assumed that many more are buried in the mass graves in the former camp cemetery.
