Raadhuisstraat: entrance of German troops
On 15 May 1940, German troops occupied Amsterdam. Their arrival had to look disciplined. Only undamaged vehicles joined the convoy. They drove 15 km per hour and the drivers were not allowed to lean their elbows out of the windows.
