MAX BRUNO SCHINDLER

After his release in 1933, the Social Democrat worked as an interpreter and helped political and racially persecuted people escape from Nazi Germany. The couple and their daughter Edith hid and fed endangered people in their apartment. In 1963, the Berlin Senate honored Malwine Schindler as a silent heroine.
