The NH-hotel Caransa and Three Sisters café, used to be the Rembrandt theatre. This theatre was frequently visited by groups of NSB (Dutch national socialist movement) members. In the night of 25 to 26 January 1943, the theatre was set on fire, probably by the CS6 resistance group.
