This memorial commemorates the residents of Stockton who served and died in the First and Second World Wars, in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Timor and in Afghanistan. It consists of a sandstone column with granite nameplates, with a statue of an Australian soldier, with rifle, above it.

This memorial has been erected in memory of the brave men from Stockton who served their country in the Great War (1914 - 1919) for the honour and integrity of Australia and the British Empire and in defence of freedom.
