Prisoners of War Cemetery Ostašov

During the First World War there was a prisoner of war camp in Ostašov where mainly Russian and Italian prisoners were interned. At its peak, the camp held 55,000 prisoners.
The cemetery currently contains 713 prisoners of war buried in unmarked graves, the majority of whom are Russians and Italians.
