Former German Airfield Mannheim
This airport was put into use for passenger purposes in 1926, but with the rise of National Socialism, pilot training was started in 1937. There was also a Flumann branch here to repair aircraft.
Finally, FLAK units were also stationed here to protect the south-eastern part of Mannheim.
