Memorial Pvt Joe P. Martinez

In Auld there is a memorial that Joe p. Martinez commemorates the first Hispanic American to earn the Medal of Honor posthumously on Attu Island on May 26, 1943. He was born in Auld. In addition, this monument also commemorates all other Auld soldiers who fought.
Finally, there is also a cannon next to the memorial.
