Tinker AFB Douglas Aircraft Info Panel

During the Second World War, a production location was set up at Tinker Airforce base by Douglas Aircraft Manufacting Company. A total of 5,231 C47 and C47A Skytrain aircraft were built here.
In addition, Douglas also built aircraft at Will Rogers Airport and Bethany Airport (also in Oklahoma City).
