Holocaust Memorial Levetzowstrasse

This 1988 memorial commemorates the deportations of Jews from Berlin to the ghettos and concentration and extermination camps in the East. At this location was a synagogue that was used as a collection camp during the war. The dates and destinations of the transports from here are listed on a metal column. On the ground are tiles with the names of synagogues in Berlin and their fate during the Nazi period.
