Crash Site Junkers Ju-88 G-6

This German night fighter of 7./NJG 2 was shot down by Mosquito NF.30 NT314 of No. 488 Squadron RNZAF on March 26th, 1945. All crew members were killed. Four crew members are known by name. A possible fifth crew member probably died separately from the rest, namely on the grounds of castle ''de Wildenborch''. The gardener on duty temporarily buried a young German there. The rest were buried in a temporary grave at Mosselseweg 6.
