In one of the niches in the Saint-Maurice Cathedral hang two memorial plaques for the victims of the First World War.
The names are listed alphabetically in three columns.
At the top left is the sentence "I fought a good fight", at the top right "The crown has been returned to me"
On the altar stone is written:
"In memory of the soldiers of Saint-Maurice.
On behalf of the country"
