House Fernand Doré Troyes

The Maison Fernand Doré in Troyes, a former music conservatory, was the official headquarters of the Gestapo during the Second Worldwar.

A plaque hangs on the façade:
"During the occupation from 1940 to 1944,
in this house, Gestapo torturers tortured
French patriots before
they were executed or deported.
French people, never forget."
