Memorial Troyes

Opposite the Maison Doré and Marot is a memorial.
On the side of the boulevard, opposite the two houses, it says:
"The Gestapo torturers
committed these acts in the old conservatory
and in the Maison Marot, 32 and 34 bld Gambetta.
Let us never forget."

On the other side is the text:
"In the years 1940-1944,
resistance fighters and patriots
along Boulevard Gambetta
were tortured by the Nazi repression services
before being interned,
deported and executed.
Let us not forget"

On both sides, the dove of peace is depicted.
