Memorial Resistance Finistère Sainte-Marie-du-Ménez-Hom

Unveiled in 1984, this monument commemorates its dead and honours the resistance from the Finistère department for their work during World War II 1940-1944.

The text on the stele reads:

'Gloire a la resistance de
Finisterienne
A ses morts
Pour que vive
La France 1940 - 1945'

'Glory to the Finisterian resistance
To her dead, so that France lives on
1940 - 1945'
