Memorial Victims Minelaying Vessel Pluton Casablanca

    This memorial commemorates the 186 victims of the explosion on the French minelayer Pluton caused by a sea mine that exploded during unloading. The victims are buried in the French section of the Ben M'sik European Cemetery in Casablanca. The memorial lists the names of the victims in alphabetical order.

    Warning on CWGC website: Please note that attacks have been reported near the cemetery. Visitors are therefore strongly advised to exercise caution and not bring valuables with them when visiting the cemetery.
