German Officers Graves 6th East Prussian IR No.43 and 7th East Prussian IR No.44

In a cattle pasture, and not directly accessible, there is a small German cemetery just outside Nouilly, with 5 officers' graves. They are East Prussian officers of the 6th Infantry Regiment No. 43, and East Prussian officers of the 7th Infantry Regiment No. 44

The IR 43 lost here on 14 August 1870: 140 dead, 601 wounded and 47 missing
The IR 44 lost here on 14 August 1870: 118 dead, 325 wounded and 40 missing.
