German Officers Graves 6th East Prussian IR Nr.43 and 7th East Prussian IR Nr.44

In a cattle pasture, and not directly accessible, there is a small German cemetery just outside Nouilly, with 5 officers' graves. They are East Prussian officers of the 6th infantry regiment nr.43, and East Prussian officers of the 7th Infantry Regiment nr.44

The IR 43 lost here on 14 August 1870: 140 dead, 601 wounded and 47 missing
The IR 44 lost here on 14 August 1870: 118 dead, 325 wounded and 40 missing.
