Monument and Mass Grave East Prussian IR No.41 and GR Crown Prince Nr.1

German monument 5th East Prussian infantry regiment nr.41, right next to it German mass grave 1st East Prussian grenadier regiment Crown Prince nr.1, both regiments had a hard time during the battles of 14 and 31 August 1870.

The losses amounted to:
IR 41:
14 August 1870: 7 dead, 50 wounded and 2 missing.
31 August 1870: 22 dead, 82 wounded and 1 missing.
GR 1:
14 August: 6 wounded
31 August: 91 dead, 218 wounded and 16 missing.
