The Swiss Military Museum Full displays tanks, armored cars, artillery, anti-aircraft and anti-tank artillery, as well as vehicles of the Swiss Army and foreign armies, especially from the 20th century, on more than 9,000 square meters of exhibition space. The associated equipment of the Swiss Army is compared with that of foreign forces from World War II and the Cold War. From the 1939 “Praga” armored car to the German Tiger II “Königstiger” and the 1944 German V1 flying bomb to the Russian T-72 main battle tank and the German Leopard 1A4, there is a variety of interesting exhibits. The complete presentation of the rich factory museum of the former Oerlikon-Bührle AG and Contraves AG, which includes mainly anti-aircraft and aircraft weapons, but also fire control equipment and guided missiles, is unique in the world. Also unique is the presentation of the former MOWAG factory museum with a large number of armored and unarmored wheeled and tracked vehicles and engines of this company from the 1950s to the present. Another part of the exhibition shows cavalry and train troops.
