Stained Glass Window Abbey Church Maredsous

Stained glass window in the Abbey Church of Maredsous in memory of four monks of the Abbey of Maredsous who lost their lives during the Second World War.
BOUTRY Aubert (Dom Aubert BOUTRY), died due to illness in Bourg-d'Oisans (F) on 6 April 1941
CAPPAERT Nestor (Frère Nicolas), died in the disaster of the ship Rhenus 127 in Willemstad (N) on 30 May 1940.
DUESBERG André (Dom Daniel DUESBERG), resistance fighter in the Belgian Legion (Secret Army), arrested in Ghlin-lez-Mons on 22 June 1942 and died in the concentration camp Gross-Rosen (D) on 15 November 1944.
HARMEL Roger (Reverend Père Dom), political prisoner, deported to the Buchenwald concentration camp (D) on 10 August 1944 and executed near Magdeburg (G), during the evacuation of the Blankenburg camp.
