Jewish Memorial Veghel
Unveiled in 2025, this monument commemorates the Jewish citizens of Veghel who were murdered during the Second World War.
The monument was designed by Jan van IJzendoorn. It consists of three granite sections, one of which features a Star of David. The seventeen holes in the artwork symbolise the seventeen Veghel Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The names and death dates of the victims are listed on a brass plaque at the monument.
