Memorial Chapel Darme

In Darme, municipality of Lingen is a memorial to the inhabitants who perished during the 1st and 2nd World Wars. The memorial is located on the main road and is slightly elevated. The memorial consists of a chapel built of brick and wood with a wrought iron fence containing the dates 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.

Inside on the back wall 3 plaques with left and right the names of the victims, in the middle the German Cross and below the text; “for the victims of both World Wars 1914-1918 and 1939-1945”.
